Christmas Market

November 2024

What a fantastic Christmas Market. With over 30 stalls of superb handmade art and crafts, wonderful festive food, drink and music, the event was really well attended and the atmosphere was buzzing!  Thanks to the incredible Garway SPICE girls and hall trustees for their hard work in making this event such a success, for the makers providing such creative delights for sale and to the people that came and bought.  See you again next year!

Garway Medieval Banquet

June 2024

Garway's Medieval Banquet on Saturday was a full house and great success. Heaps of thanks to Lesley Whistance who masterminded the whole thing, complete with Lord and Lady, jesters and a troubadour. Lots of thanks to the many people - too many to name - who contributed their time and efforts into making the evening such fun.

Such talented actors performed a very intriguing mystery ... who killed Elaine?  The incredible Christine with help from the SPICE girls served up fabulous food & drinks, two spectacular evenings

CPRE Talk - Can Our Rivers Survive?

A really well attended and informative talk from CPRE about the state of the River Wye and the action that has been happening to try to improve the situation.

Monmouth Male Voice Choir & Supper

A fantastic evening of beautiful, stirring voices from Monmouth Male Voice Choir and as ever, fabulous food served up by Christine and the team with the SPICE girls and Garway Live.  A great event.

Afternoon in Paris

November 2024

Evocative of smokey jazz cafés of 1940's Europe, Afternoon in Paris put on an incredible performance that the audience loved.  Great stage presence from Susanna and musical talent from them all.

D-Day Anniversary
Blackout Party

June 2024

Fabulous blackout party organised by Lucy Hoare to celebrate the anniversary of D-Day.  Monmouth Big Band and the Sugar Shop Harmony provided the fantastic music and Jive by the Wye gave a quick workshop on the dance moves.  Great participation everyone!

Garway Heritage Group Talk:  The Knight Templars
 

March 2024

Clive Kelly, accompanied by his wife Barbara and his father Ronald, spoke on the Knight Templars with an emphasis on Garway and the Welsh and Scottish wars. It was very well attended.
